've Used saw this twice (for a total of about 4 hours) and could not be happier! I saw a good start for the orientation and size like a dream. Make sure you need such as gas mixture and 2-cycle oil and always use the proper chain of oil by weight and not go wrong. This was just another super sale on Amazon.

I bought this saw for my husband because I felt he needed a lighter weight saw since he uses one quite a bit on the farm and he isn’t getting any younger. He immediately tried out the saw (he was used to a 21″ cutting bar) and loeved it. To use his words”That saw cut through those trees like butter. He used it to clear fallen trees off our 375 acre farm and to do the “gin” work around our home. We had a very bad ice storm last winter and had many down trees to saw up to be moved. He loves the power and how easy it starts. He said to rate this 5 stars at least!

Having once enjoyed cutting wood in the backdrop of Maine and Wisconsin, I was a bit suspicious about what my new Poulan Pro could do. But after working the primer, chock, and adjusting the chain ever so slightly, my new tool worked like a charm. I used it again this morning to trim out a pine tree here in CA. I do wonder, however, if those parts will stay together, for when starting it, the chassis seems to shake more than I anticipated.
Keep in mind – it seems a far better machine than the one I bought 20 years ago for just about the same price!

McCulloch 16-Inch 3.5 HP Electric Chain Saw #MCC3516F
This is the second electric McCilloch 16″ chain saw that I have owned and it is even better and more powerful than the first. I still use a gas chain saw out in the woods on my property but I usually do just enough cutting with it to get the logs on a trailer so I can take them bach to my shed to cut them up and save the sawdust for on my garden and flower beds as mulch. This electric is lighter and more powerful than my gas saw and makes short work of even 14″ well-seasoned oak and poppel logs with a minimum of effort. I highly recommend this sae for anyone who has an electric outlet close enough to their cutting station.
