Just got this in the mail today and used it in the evening drill. So far, great job. I'm building a house and now I can say how useful these exercises. The unit impact drill screws quickly and easily. Countertops to build my house and drive the screws into the plywood to give the wood with amazing speed. The other nice thing about this exercise is that the couple "breaks" when the screw is flush with the wood. While it is still possible to drive the screwdeeper, if you wish. The hammer drill also works great. I heard this evening to take a drill to door to my cellar door. The certainty that the screws are bolt catch so long that you have to drill into the foundation. No problem with that drill. The other thing that I love this drill is the ease with which tighten the tip on the drill. With one hand you can put on the drill … as I said, I'm loving it. I would recommend this package to anyone on the market for a new tip.A +.

The power is more than adequate – the high speed being just perfect and the low speed providing enough torque to undo all but the most stubborn of screws and bolts.
The clutch is extremely handy because it prevents overtightening and breaking off screw heads.
About my only complaint would be that battery management isn’t what I’d like. Not quite enough battery life on a charge – and batteries seem to wear out (as in become unuseable and won’t take a charge) relatively quickly. However that is just my personal view – Perhaps my expectations are unreasonable. Conside that my experience is that the B&D Versapak battery system isn’t as long lasting as this.
I do not recomend this as an all-day tool for someone who works on an assembly line, for example. But certainly it is a more than excellent device. Beautifully designed and built with real metal gears inside.

I live in Louisiana and we have numerous hurricanes. This is probably why its called “hurricane country” and so during the hurricane season, we have to be completely prepared for any kind of eventuality. One of the products that I felt we needed to survive the hurricane season is a liquid transfer pump that is battery operated and can efficiently pump gasoline into my generator from a can.
I looked around for an efficient one and finally came across the Sierra Tools Liquid Transfer Pump. I was a little skeptical when I bought it, but after extensive usage, I think it is a great product. It perfectly fitted my requirement and I am very happy with it.
The ease of usage is one of the best things that I love about this product. It takes about five minutes to pump two and a half gallons of gas and I think that is a very reasonable time for the job. I love this product because there is no waste of gas and it is great on my back. Lifting the can every time to fill the generator led to a sore back and I used to spill a lot of gas, which is very expensive now. So, this product saved my back and wallet.
Though the flow was faster than I expected, it is surprisingly easy to control. The design is very simple and the product is light weight. So, it is very portable and easy to store too. Also, the switch is located right at the top of the handle and this makes it all the more convenient.
Overall, I think this is a great product and I would definitely suggest it to anyone who is looking for a liquid pump. It may be especially useful for people living in places that are susceptible to harsh weather conditions.

Pink Tool Set

Having purchased my first pink tool, a hammer, I was intrigued over these cute little pink tools. Not only does it seem like they were made to fit my hands, my husband won’t go near them either and a portion of every purchase goes towards breast cancer research.
Going back to the hardware store, I found a 20 piece set of these pink wonders. The Original Pink Box 20 piece set includes a tape measure, needle nose pliers, pliers, both a Phillips and a flat head screwdriver, a mini hammer, an adjustable wrench and a precision screwdriver set all encased in a steel case.
Needless to say, I thought this would be a lovely way to start my new collection of tools. Everyone should always have tools around to take care of all the little household projects that are bound to come up. I mean let’s face it; we all need at least a hammer and some nails just to perform basic tasks like hanging pictures. Anyone who has kids knows that we need to have screwdrivers around to remove those annoying battery covers on all of the toys that they can’t live without. For those of us who don’t know what pliers are for, you can use the needle nose pliers to twist wire when hanging a very large picture or even to undo wire coat hangers to roast marshmallows over a grill or backyard fire. Regular pliers can be used on those stubborn nuts and bolts on bed frames.
Those are just a few examples as there are a number of small things that need tools. I ended up buying this set. I thought it was a great deal at less than $50. Aside from a few saws, another important power tool for woodworking is a random orbital sander. This particular tool doesn’t sand in patterns and, instead, will reduce any visible sanding marks. Aside from giving your wood an even surface, you may need to cut into it from time to time, and a router is the type of tool you’ll need in this case. Stationary routers are ideal for everyone – a plunging router should be handled by a professional. You can set the tool at a specific depth into the wood in order to make the cut you need and the tool stays consistent. Once you’ve made the cut, simply lift out the bit of wood.
Although other power tools can be used on wood, these are the basics you’ll need for working on any wood at home or on the job. Generally, any medium-duty tool is capable of cutting through wood, although, for saws, be wary of the blade used.

I purchased this impact wrench because it is compatible with a 1/2″ DeWalt drill/driver that I already own. I use it to drive 3 1/2″ joint connector screws into endgrain wooden bed rails when assembling bunk beds that I build. The 1/2″ drill/driver would do the job but I would go through two batteries to set up one set of bunk beds. With the impact wrench I can complete an installation using only one battery. Now I have 4 compatible 14.4v batteries that I can rotate between the 1/2″ drill and the impact wrench. The only negative I have about this impact wrench is that it is quite noisy when using it. Other than that I am well satisfied.
